Gillian Lynne Theatre, London
The Gillian Lynne Theatre was formerly known as the New London Theatre from 1973 to 2018.
The Auditorium has 1294 seats. There are two Wheelchair spaces in Row P. There are "normal" seats put in for the Wheelchair Companions, as needed, as they are just chairs from the adjacent Bar area.
There is a lift to take you up to the Wheelchair level, via the Stage Door entrance. It is operated by a Staff Member. Warning, if you have a large wheelchair, it is very difficult to navigate the corridors and all the doors, plus entering and exiting the lift.
Once in the Auditorium, there is an excellent view from the Wheelchair Space.
There is are two Accessible Toilets, one on Level 4 and one near the Access Entrance. The bar is Accessible, but the Merchandise Kiosk isn't. You would need your companion to get any merchandise for you.
I would rate the Gillian Lynne Theatre as 6/10
Although the view is super, the "rat run" to get in and out and the fact you can't buy or see the Merchandise Kiosk, affects the score.
